Abba's Child

I have spent over a month dwelling in this book; Abba's Child by Brennan Manning. Finished it this morning. I would read and reflect deeply each day. I needed to not rush it and let it work into my spirit. It was my quiet time and my spiritual food. I won't insult the depth of this work by trying to explain it. I'll just urge you...please read it. If you want to shed off your insecure man or woman and step more deeply into your identity as Father's loved child, read this book.  I haven't read one this good on this theme since Nouwen's "Life of the Beloved" - which has carried me several years.
